Grief has swept through Harrisburg and beyond following a devastating crash that claimed the life of Romeo Mason Fleck, 22, along with two other young men. The accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday on NC-87 in Harnett County, North Carolina.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol reported that a Toyota Camry carrying soldiers from Fort Bragg crossed the center line and collided head-on with an oncoming Chevrolet. Romeo, who was behind the wheel, and back-seat passenger Charles Jackson were pronounced dead at the scene. William T. Underwood, 28, of Sanford, also died as a result of the crash. A fourth passenger remains hospitalized in critical condition.
