Brianna Arango, Missing Smu Student Update

UPDATE: Brianna Arango has been located and is safe. Although she has been found, the investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue gathering information.

Earlier, the SMU Police Department requested the public’s assistance in locating missing student Brianna Arango. She was last seen on February 12 at approximately 12:30 p.m. near Harold Simmons Hall on the campus of Southern Methodist University. She did not attend her scheduled 1:00 p.m. class.

At the time, Brianna was reportedly wearing a white shirt, blue sweatpants, and carrying a beige tote bag. Police treated the situation as a matter of concern and worked actively to locate her.

Authorities are continuing to review information related to the case. Obituary, memorial, funeral, and visitation details are not applicable.
